Ellen Degeneres Lists Beverly Hills Home For Nearly 18 Million

Known as Trousdale Estates, the home was first built back in 1962, designed by John Elgin Woolf and later restored by the architects at Marmol Radziner. According to the home’s real estate listing, it was for a long time the home of Marjorie Lord, an actress of the classic Hollywood era. Fittingly, the house itself was designed in a style reflecting that era: “The longtime estate of actress Marjorie Lord, the home is a stunning example of the Hollywood Regency style, with theatricality, elegant proportions, and dramatic details.
