Candy Spelling Lists Malibu Beach House For 23 Million
The property, to which the Spellings added an adjacent lot to back in the 90s, is being sold because Spelling says she’s “not a sun lover like I used to be,” and the house is rarely used by her or anyone in her family. But someone who is a sun lover would be lucky to own this traditionally-styled beach house, occupying 81 feet of Pacific coast on Malibu’s La Costa Beach, and with seven bedrooms, a great room, and a designated media room. Two of those bedrooms are master suites, one of which comes complete with a fireplace, kitchenette, lounge area, and built-in bookshelves. Here’s how the home’s official listing describes it: The listing comes as the much more famous Spelling home once known as Spelling Manor in Holmby Hills sold for roughly $120 million. Spelling sold that property back in 2011 for $85 million to heiress Petra Ecclestone, but she says she doesn’t know who owns the mansion now: “Everyone keeps asking me who bought the [Holmby Hills] house, and I say I have no idea.” Spelling reportedly now lives in a condo in the Century City area.
